I’m recent newcomer to Koontz, since robetr been brought up, and I don’t about anyone else, yet he seems too in with purple prose. The action is grueling.

My devotion to King never wavered in all that time, but I stopped reading Straub and Barker and Koontz because other interests crowded them out; eventually, to save on space, I got rid of almost all of those books. I also very much loved his collection of short stories, Blue World.
